The first game had awquard controls and they felt hard to play as.
I hope this is an improvement.

Genshiken (07/23/2008 07:20AM)

gamerlockheart (07/23/2008 07:56AM)

There's only so far some good 'ole "Hurhurhur, generously busted ninja" humour can go.
It's a pretty mediocre game.
It is, however, rather enjoyable if you do like dungeon crawlers with a kick (or punch) in the nads of losing all your equipment and money when you die.
I liked Izuna 1 so I like this one too, but I can still recognise it as being a mediocre game.
You've been warned.

jack_in_the_dark (07/23/2008 05:31PM)

i agree Bish, i liked the first one 2, but its was not a great game.
Also, people should stop with the unfunny puns after the first version of this game came out, now they are just anoying

length of degrees (07/23/2008 05:39PM)

and no one's going to be playing this because of FF IV...
though...can't say I don't like FF IV >

qqq_bored (07/23/2008 05:59PM)

After what a crap game Izuna 1 was, I was surprised anyone wanted an Izuna 2. Reviews were almost universally negative... gameplay was mediocre at best, and annoyingly crap at worst.

xXXSephirothxCloudxNarutoXxx (07/23/2008 07:00PM)

I dunno, while Izuna was far from the best game ever, I kinda enjoyed the "go to that dungeon for no reason and lose all your shit if you die" aspect of the game. Made for a bit of a challenge.

xHeidix (07/23/2008 07:03PM)

i just recently got the first on hahahaha. played it for like a little bit. i hated it, it was so awkward. D=

Gollgagh (07/23/2008 08:45PM)

Ah you punks can't enjoy a good, old-fashioned roguelike can you?

I grew up on roguelikes like this so this is right down my alley.

Gollgagh (07/23/2008 08:54PM)

I just have to wait for my old DP loan to clear >.>

dark_archon18 (07/23/2008 10:10PM)

Izuna 1 reminds me of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon...actually the game-play is pretty much the same. Still, the lol storyline is pretty funny and addictive. =.=

Sure we can, that's why there's POWDER or the DS port of Nethack instead. biggrin.gif

Or if you don't like homebrew there's Shiren which is even more classic!

Gollgagh (07/24/2008 12:51AM)

I have Shiren on my M3 : )

Yeah, that.

blibbero (07/24/2008 02:32AM)

I far prefer the replayability of Roguelikes, to the linear storybooks that Squaresoft has been producing for years. Then again these Shrinen derivitives are not particularly stellar efforts. But they're better than nothing

Soundoreo! (07/24/2008 05:02AM)

Psh, she needs to just go to a temp agency. >_< Or go on the streets! YOU SEE THOSE KNOCKERS?!!??!?!?!

mewmewidiot (07/25/2008 04:22AM)

the 1st game was rly good so i wanna c the difference between the 2.

codietheman (07/25/2008 05:21AM)

so um wheres the download sign thing

Gollgagh (07/25/2008 06:28AM)

Click on "game details" then furthest right link on the white bar.

But if you don't even know that, you probably don't even have the capability of downloading games over 12.5 megs.

Milo Man (07/25/2008 03:10PM)

I'd employ her, if you know what I mean.

Disregard Bish's thoughts about jokes about unemployed female ninjas. ;0

Gollgagh (07/27/2008 05:55AM)

I just got into the first one, and it is friggin' addictive.

I can't wait to get to this one.

It's just too bad my left shoulder button is starting to go. :/

crono06 (07/28/2008 01:47AM)

yeah... i'd be willing to fix her unemployment problem too (;
